I finally got my PCM back after a misunderstanding resulting from me mislabeleing the box. Whoops.
Interesting stuff I've noticed since installing it:
The car starts more eagerly, and doesn't rev up after firing. Just immediately starts into a nice even idle.
Runs cooler due to the fan-on time being lowered
Torque converter lockup happens MUCH sooner resulting in lower RPMs during around-town driving
NO MORE "YOUR CAT IS BROKEN" LIGHT!
I seem to be in a higher gear when cruising around town. Thank god.
Downshifts are WAY more eager. I step on the pedal and it's dropped down two gears before my foot hits the floor. Used to be a good 1 second delay.
Launches seem a little faster
Less backfiring when I lift after heavy acceleration.
Butt Dyno Results:
Before: 3 anemic hampsters jogging in each tire
After: 2000 brake horsepower
Conclusion: 13/10 would buy again
